Responsibilities
- Drive efficiencies and automation that help support the resilience of the Firm's most critical applications
- Set team goals and SLAs, offer and receive feedback while partnering with near-shore and offshore IT-DR teams; help set the IT-DR lifecycle roadmap and identify unaddressed areas for solutioning
- Assign team members to the right projects at the right time within budget and timelines; ensure team members have skills and tools to perform their jobs, acting as point of escalation to leadership
- Balance execution and tactical planning with participation in strategic planning; contribute to tactical plans and monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance for the IT-DR Area
- Advocate alignment with relevant strategies, ensuring adherence to these strategies and related commitments while partnering with the Enterprise Resilience Organization (ERO) and Risk management; guide IT disaster recovery and business application teams toward optimal solutions
- Engage with department management and staff across Digital Nexus / functional processes to influence client expectations and provide well-considered alternatives and recommendations for improvements; ensure goals and objectives are consistently addressed
Qualifications
Minimum five years of recent experience in IT-Disaster Recovery and / or leading IT Infrastructure or Application TeamsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT-DR related certifications are a plusExpert knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Networking, DNS, Load Balancing, Servers, High AvailabilityDemonstrated experience in an enterprise IT-DR setting as part of an IT-DR or Application team that performed IT-DR planning and testing (e.g., application fail-over and DR site operations)Capable leader and effective communicator with a proven track record of collaboration with application teams as well as nearshore and offshore teamsDemonstrated knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and AgileAuthorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future; no visa sponsorship is available for this opportunityLegal and Diversity Information
