Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Desk Patrols in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a leading financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere while monitoring access and assisting with badge protocols. Using your strong communication skills and computer proficiency, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide excellent customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities and any security-related incidents occurring at the front desk area.
  • Assist in directing visitors and employees as needed, providing information and guidance in accordance with site-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activities and / or behaviors.
  • Support emergency response activities as required, including communication with appropriate personnel and first responders.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
