We are actively seeking experienced CNC Machinists for our second shift. This is a non-exempt full-time assignment, located in Torrance, CA, and reports to the Manufacturing Manager.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Set Up and Operate CNC Machines
• Read and Interpret Blueprints to understand and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to set up machines accurately and assess geometric tolerances.
• Set up jobs by loading programs, selecting fixtures, part holders, and tooling to machine parts to specifications.
• Prepare and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to manufacture parts according to specifications.
• Monitor Production and continuously monitor the machining process to ensure that parts meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform Maintenance by conducting routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Monitor tools and attachments to ensure parts are properly cooled and lubricated.
• Ensure full compliance with the Company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
• Must maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Maintains a clean work space.
• Report on all production issues to the lead and manufacturing manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

These CNC Machinist positions are for our 2nd shift operation. They also receive an 8% shift premium (of their base pay).
