Position Overview

The Manager in Training (MIT) program is designed to prepare you to become a full-time Store Manager within 6 months. During training, you'll share responsibilities with the Owner, gradually taking on more leadership and decision-making until you're confidently running the store on your own. You'll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of store operationsstaffing, training, sales, and financial performancewhile building and leading a high-energy team that delivers an amazing customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring consistent quality, friendly service, and adherence to brand standards.
• Maintain store cleanliness, visual standards, and food safety requirements.
• Recruit, train, and develop baristas to uphold company values and performance standards.
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and motivation for your team.
• Learn and apply progressive discipline processes in partnership with leadership and HR.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing levels, and labor planning to meet business needs.
• Drive store profitability through sales growth and expense management.
• Track, understand, and influence store performance metrics.
• Support and eventually lead store goal-setting and action planning.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS operations, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Gain experience in reporting and analyzing financial performance.
