Project Manager - Connecticut / Massachusetts Region

A growing civil / environmental contracting firm based in Boston is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects throughout Connecticut and New England. The company specializes in a range of services including demolition, excavation, dredging, utility work, landfill capping, and closures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to meet goals for quality, schedule, cost control, safety, profitability, and client satisfaction.
• Manage financial aspects of projects, including budgets, profit margins, monthly cost analyses, status reports, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure proper staffing for each project.
• Oversee invoicing and negotiate change orders with clients when necessary.
• Support Project Engineers in resolving project-related issues.
• Handle claims involving subcontractors, vendors, or clients to ensure timely and cost-effective resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, labor relations, EEO policies, and safety / quality control programs.
• Foster team collaboration, mentor junior staff, and clarify roles and responsibilities within the project team.
