The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a general dentist for a community health center, also called a federally qualified health center, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Mission : To provide affordable, comprehensive, high-quality health care to the entire community.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 30AM - 7 : 30 / 5PM, with at least one evening and one admin day.
  • Clinic Hours : (M-Th) : 7 : 30AM-7 : 30PM, (F) : 7 : 30AM- 5PM
  • Provider Schedule Expectation : 4 day work week with 1 late evening until 7 : 30pm
  • No weekends, no on-call
  • See an average of 18 patients per day on average (peds)
  • 5 operatories
  • Current Dental Staff : 5 dentists, 5 dental hygienists, 12 dental assistants
  • EHR : Wisdom / Epic

  • Through an integrated care model, including medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof!

    • Requirements

  • Requires graduation from an accredited school of dentistry;
  • Possession of valid D.D.S / D.M.D. degree;
  • Current Iowa license, federal DEA and Iowa CSA in good standing;

    • Benefits

  • Eligible for up to $50,000 in student loan repayment with two year commitment & option to renew.
  • $125k-249k annual salary
  • Professional association and licensure fees paid for.
  • Continuing education 5 days / $2,000 annually
  • 401k retirement plan with 5% match
  • 20 PTO days + 10 paid holidays
  • Contract Length : 1 year minimum
