Partner Engineer, Music Publishing, YouTube YouTube is seeking a Partner Engineer to work with the Music Business Development team to license music rights on the platform through record labels, music publishers, and collection societies agreements.
The successful candidate will have experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring junior team members, with deeper expertise and applied knowledge within the relevant area.
Responsibilities Own the technical relationship with top partners and work closely with the Business Development team to discuss new agreements and ensure partner success on YouTube.
Identify, drive, and optimize the flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies.
Perform implementation reviews, communicate and seek adoption of new product features and internal tools, and ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.
Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams.
Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C / C++, Python).
Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal / external partners or customers.
Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Experience in a problem-solving role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.
Experience or interest in the music industry.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $123,000-$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
