JSG is searching for a Principle PMIC Design Engineer for our client’s Northeast Atlanta, GA area operation. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary, outstanding benefits and a great opportunity to join an industry leader.
Job Duties
- Work in a cross functional team environment, leading and contributing to the PMIC product development
- Full custom analog design of blocks such as PLLs, oscillators, bandgap references, LDOs, Buck / Boost, voltage regulators, high voltage detection circuits, ADCs, DACs, high speed comparators, etc.
- Provide feasibility studies for size / performance / schedule
- Plan and coordinate with verification team to develop models for your blocks and to ensure full validation coverage
- Provide floor-planning and support integration of digital & analog circuits at the full-chip level
- Work in cooperation with the methodology and CAD groups
- Interface between different teams to ensure successful path to production
- Coordinate with other stakeholders in identifying needs and improvements
Qualifications
8+ years of Analog / Mixed Signal IC Design ExperiencePMIC design experienceBSEE required (MSEE / PhD preferred)Experience of contributing towards several silicon tapeout cycles from spec to mass productionDesign experience in CMOS / BiCMOS process is requiredExperience working with small geometry BCD processes is a plusIdeal candidate will have solid understanding of switching regulators, integrated power MOSFETs and drivers, LDOs, precision amplifiers, oscillators, bandgap references, ADCs, DACs, high-speed comparatorsProficient with Spectre and other analog simulatorsExperience with Cadence schematic captureExperience with LinuxStrong organizational skills and attention to detailGood written / verbal communication skills & ability to take ownershipKnowledge of Verilog, Verilog-ams or other modeling / coding languagesWorking knowledge of revision control tools such as SOS or SVNInterested Candidates Should Apply Now!Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
