PRACTICE SPECIFICS

We are looking for a patient–centered Endocrinologist to join our team of 5 Physicians (including 1 Pediatric Endocrinologist), 5 NP / PAs and 18 additional staff.

Great position for work / life balance.

Call : rotation including weekends; coverage includes inpatient diabetes care. We will openly discuss this as part of the interview process.

Inpatient coverage at Essentia Health–St. Mary's Medical Center, a 344–bed tertiary care hospital, Level I Adult Trauma Center –or– Essentia Health–Duluth, a 165–bed hospital – both located on the same connected campus.

Call is in effect for providers during office business hours only and triaged through our RN team first. An NP / PA team covers all hospital glucose management.

Capability to apply and analyze latest diabetes related devices including pumps, sensors, and meters.

Primarily outpatient practice : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m.– 5 : 00 p.m.

Some outreach possible.

No evening, weekend, or holiday call.

Patient volume / day : 10–12.

REQUIREMENTS

BC / BE in Endocrinology, or

BC / BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with a strong interest in Diabetes care.

COMPENSATION

$309,000 for BC / BE Endocrinologist. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production–based compensation.
