Director of Revenue Recognition

A company is looking for a Director of Revenue Recognition to lead critical accounting functions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and collaborating with various teams to review contracts

Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity, while developing cash flow forecasting models and optimizing treasury policies

Lead administration of commission plans, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance, while providing analysis on commission trends

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

8+ years of progressive accounting / finance experience, including at least 2 years in a management role

Strong knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, and revenue recognition principles

Experience managing treasury operations and commission structures is a plus

Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
