Secondary Market Analyst
Green Brick Mortgage is seeking a Secondary Market Analyst to join our team in Plano, TX. The Secondary Market Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the mortgage lending process by managing rate lock activities, loan pricing, investor delivery, and reporting. This position ensures profitability and compliance of loan sales through effective pipeline management and investor communication.
Responsibilities
- Issue and distribute daily loan pricing across all origination channels.
- Confirm, accept, and manage rate locks from Retail and Wholesale.
- Monitor locked loan pipelines and perform necessary changes or rate adjustments.
- Communicate investor guidelines, pricing policies, and delivery requirements to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to pipeline rate lock policies to maintain profitability in varying market conditions.
- Prepare and submit required reports to investors and internal management regarding loan origination, sales, and servicing.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support secondary market operations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.Competencies :
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and qualitative data.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Experience with Optimal Blue and Encompass Loan Origination System is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience :
Prior experience in secondary marketing or capital markets within the mortgage industry preferred.What We Offer :
