CPC Certified Coding Manager

A company is looking for a Manager of Professional Billing Coding Operations - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the operational functions of the Professional Coding Operations team, ensuring accurate coding and compliance with guidelines

Supervise and mentor professional billing coding staff, providing training and feedback on coding practices

Conduct quality assurance reviews and analyze coding denials to improve performance and reduce errors

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

CPC - Certified Professional Coder certification required

Minimum of five years of coding experience, including education and mentoring, with at least three years in a management role

Experience in acute care hospital coding with ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 is preferred

Strong knowledge of hospital reimbursement methodologies and coding regulations
