ProMedica Physicians Hematology Oncology are seeking to add a Full-time Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.
Established in 1954, the practice has a reputation for providing patients with superior, comprehensive care with a personal touch. The practice is located on the campus of ProMedica Flower Hospital, located in Sylvania, Ohio (a suburb of Toledo). The inpatient role will primarily cover Flower Hospital and The Toledo Hospital with additional telehealth support at other facilities as needed.

ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Complete daily inpatient rounds and maintain collaboration on care with the rounding oncologist
- Participate in tele-visits as needed and as appropriate.
- Collaborate on outpatient care transitions as needed; support the outpatient team if / as needed.
- Provide education on diverse treatment options
- Identify and provide treatment for health-related conditions associated with cancer
- Offer emotional assistance to patients of cancer, as well as their families,
- Support research on cancer to improve treatment formalities apportioned to cancer patients
- Provide helpful resources on the patient and families to enhance positive results
- Incorporate patients and their families in the treatment plan, procedures and possible outcomes.
- Observe and record the patient's progress regularly
- Document care provided on patients including reactions to medication and treatment
- Rotating / shared weekend and call based on practice requirements

Job Requirements
Certificate of Authority to practice.Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.Licensed or license eligible in the state of OH & MIMaster of Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) degree for Nurse Practitioner (NP) applicants.Masters degree for Physician Assistant (PA) applicantsPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :
