London Eligibility, an Elevate PFS Company,has an exciting career opportunity available as anAttorney.This position will be a remote based role.The successful candidate may be located anywhere on the East Coast of the US or in Oklahoma or Ohio.The Full-Time schedule for this role will be 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday with flexibility as needed.
Job Summary
The role of the Attorney is to play a pivotal role in advocating for clients throughout all stages of the SSD / SSI application process, with a strong emphasis on administrative hearings before the Social Security Administration (SSA). Attorneys manage their own caseload and lead a dedicated team of support staff to ensure each client receives exceptional representation and care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in administrative hearings before SSA Administrative Law Judges (ALJs)
- Prepare persuasive legal arguments, pre-hearing briefs, and supporting documentation
- Conduct client interviews, gather medical and vocational evidence, and develop case strategies
- Supervise and mentor a team of case managers and legal assistants
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with SSA procedures and deadlines
- Collaborate with medical professionals, vocational experts, and other stakeholders to strengthen case outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or abilities.Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolMinimum one year of experience representing claimants in SSD / SSI hearings.Admission to practice law in any U.S. state or the District of Columbia (recent bar exam takers may be considered with contingency)Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skillsDemonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable and underserved populationsAbility to manage a high-volume caseload with empathy, efficiency, and professionalism.Prior experience in Social Security Disability law is a plus, but not requiredBilingual or multilingual abilities are a plusStrong organizational and time-management skillsCollaborative mindset and leadership potentialTravel Requirements
This position requires in-person appearances for administrative hearings in the location(s) specified on the job posting.
