Job Description

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful projects, drive innovation in composites manufacturing, and contribute to the advancement of aerospace technologies.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (design engineering, quality, materials, and manufacturing) to drive initiatives within the composites supply chain (internal and external suppliers).
• Manage action plans and prioritize efforts based on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), with Safety as the top priority.
• Drive manufacturing improvements in Polymer Matrix Composite (PMC) equipment and process technology, focusing on layup, resin transfer molding, autoclave curing, and press curing processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality using lean manufacturing principles.
• Monitor, track, and communicate project status, issues, and developments to key stakeholders in the Composites business.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in PMC manufacturing.
• Pursue technical growth through training programs, online courses, certifications, and workshops.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing organization.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with aerospace special process control and quality management systems.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor, supporting team members' professional development.
