We are a growing mid-sized law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to join our San Juan Capistrano team. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a strong moral compass and work ethic. This is a hybrid position that combines minor receptionist duties with legal assistant tasks within the Estate Planning area of law.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and courtesy
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
  • Proofread legal documents and correspondence accurately
  • File and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files
  • Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • The ability to manage your caseload efficiently and coordinate with multiple supervisors
  • A sense of ownership over the work products you contribute to and any task you are involved in
  • A strong interest in a variety of tasks and the ability to pivot quickly between roles
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently
  • High respect for client confidentiality and discretion

    • Additional Information

  • This position offers unique opportunities for growth within a legal environment, including in-house training toward paralegal-level proficiency in a variety of legal areas.
  • Job Type : Full-time; on-site
  • Pay : $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
  • Schedule : Office Hours 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM
