Job Description : About the Role

Client is modernizing its enterprise technology foundation, and we're seeking an IT Infrastructure Director to lead that transformation. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on executiondriving network redesign, cloud migration, cybersecurity hardening, and infrastructure modernization across a nationwide real estate portfolio. If you thrive at the intersection of technology, operations, and leadershipand want to shape a scalable, secure, and cloud-ready IT environmentthis role offers a meaningful opportunity to make an enterprise-wide impact.

What You'll Do

Infrastructure and Cloud Modernization

  • Lead enterprise-wide modernization of infrastructure : network architecture, Wi-Fi, data center, and cloud environments Knowledge of both on site and cloud are equally important
  • Direct and manage cloud migration initiativesassessing, planning, and executing hybrid and full-cloud transitions for core systems
  • Oversee circuit redesign (SD-WAN, MPLS exit), data center consolidation, and modernization of backup / recovery solutions
  • Maintain reliability, scalability, and business continuity standards across all facilities

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Own enterprise security remediation and infrastructure hardening programs.
  • Implement advanced security solutions (Arctic Wolf, Palo Alto, Darktrace, etc.) for threat detection, response, and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards through proactive risk management and patch governance.

    • Project Delivery & Vendor Leadership

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of infrastructure and cloud projectsfrom design through execution.
  • Manage external vendors and service providers; lead RFPs, contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor performance.
  • Ensure all modernization and migration projects are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with business priorities.

    • Operations & Reliability

  • Maintain high availability (target 99.9%+ uptime) and robust monitoring across network and cloud platforms.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for critical incidents, outages, and recovery efforts.
  • Align system maintenance and patching with operational and security goals.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Real Estate on technology integration for property transitions, decommissions, and new developments.
  • Ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Team Development & Training

  • Cultivate a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and technical training.
  • Oversee upskilling in areas such as cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and modern network tools.

    • What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree a plus)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, and systems administration
  • Strong technical leadership in :
  • Network architecture & modernization (LAN / WAN, Wi-Fi 6, SD-WAN, firewalls)
  • Cloud platforms & migration (TBD).
  • Security technologies (Darktrace, Palo Alto, Arctic Wolf, etc.).
  • Virtualization & disaster recovery (VMware, Zerto, backup systems)
  • Proven success managing enterprise-scale modernization projects and vendor partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

    • Preferred Certifications : CCNP, CISSP, ITIL, Azure or AWS Solutions Architect.
