Compliance Officer

Job Title : Compliance Officer - Retirement Plan Services

Location : Fully Onsite in South Bend, IN | Fort Wayne, IN | Kalamazoo, MI

Salary Range : $70,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with ERISA and related regulations across all retirement plan services.

Review trust instruments, benefit plans, and account documentation to determine responsibilities and recommend changes as needed.

Consult with internal and external stakeholders (corporate officers, attorneys, actuaries, beneficiaries, and trust personnel) on plan administration, compliance issues, and account servicing.

Conduct periodic account reviews to confirm adherence to customer needs, objectives, and regulatory requirements.

Stay current on legislative and regulatory changes impacting employee benefit trusts and communicate implications to leadership and clients.

Support plan implementation, compliance reviews, and provide guidance on alternatives to meet client needs effectively.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.

ERISA knowledge required with a minimum of 5-8 years in retirement plan compliance.

CRSP, QKA, or QKC certification required.

Experience with Relius or similar compliance software strongly preferred.

Strong communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
