job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead recruitment effort for part-time hosts & refs Recruit, hire, onboard, schedule, train and evaluate excellent part-time talent to run our leagues and events Manage the development and presentation of staff and volunteer training Lead initiatives for engagement and support—pre-season training, mid-season check-ins, and end-of-season celebrations Oversee staff & volunteer feedback review & analysis Grow the staff & volunteer community and culture through special perks and events Create recruitment pipeline for part-time staff Schedule league & event staff—including hosts and refs for adult and kids programs Update scheduling software to reflect completion of shifts & support payroll as needed Support the local payroll process as neededTrack & evaluate performance of part-time staff Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in recruiting or event management Ability to work nights and weekends Can marshal resources effectively and comfortably Experience in sport or event management and / or business development capacity Can navigate a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Dynamic personality interested in working in, and contributing to, a fun and active sporting environment

Position Summary
Hiring & Staffing Manager – Lead all facets of recruiting and managing part-time staff and volunteers for Volo sports leagues and events. This role is hands-on, strategic, and oriented to building a vibrant staff community.
