Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer 2- Oil & Gas

Overview

As an Instrumentation & Controls Project Lead Engineer, you will lead project teams with the assistance of other I&C engineers involved in the design of new upstream and midstream oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop P&ID, I / O Lists, Control Panel Design, C&E development, Control Narrative, Network Architecture, Cable Schedule, Location Plans, and preparation of specifications for the procurement of instrumentation and controls equipment and related installation services.
• Participate in Process Hazard Analysis and Design Reviews.
• Work directly with the client representative to ask and answer questions related to the Instrumentation and Controls design.
• Through mentoring, classroom-style technical sessions, and on-the-job training, increase knowledge and skills in the engineering discipline.
• Travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs.
• Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation.
• Provide guidance as a mentor in the development of less experienced engineers.
• Develop your career via peer-learning by way of S&L's systems of process and associated "Communities of Practice."
