Position Summary
The Senior Business Systems Analyst leads key initiatives focused on improving organizational efficiency through process optimization and system enhancement. This role bridges business needs and technology, ensuring streamlined, automated, and effective solutions-particularly within the mortgage domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with departmental managers to analyze current systems and processes.
- Conduct process studies and focus group sessions to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend and implement process and system changes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, test, and deploy updates or automation solutions.
- Define project goals, roadmaps, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate and oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to deployment.
- Support corporate training teams in preparing user documentation and training materials.
- Lead initial process training sessions and ensure effective handover to business units.
- Serve as the escalation point for project-related issues.
- Report project status and key updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (IT, Business, or related field preferred).5+ years of experience in business analysis.Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in AI or AI-driven solution projects.Strong background in the mortgage industry is mandatory.Proficient in defining business problems and designing solutions.Skilled in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, concatenation, conditional formatting, pivot tables).Experience with Microsoft VSTS or JIRA .Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused professional.Core Skills
