JOB PURPOSE The Quality Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement through data analysis, root cause investigation, and cross-functional collaboration. The role leads initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), enhance Right First Time (RFT) performance, and support customer satisfaction by ensuring robust corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Engineer will also support quality compliance audits and foster a strong quality culture across the facility.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, Research & Development, and Commercial, the Quality Engineer addresses quality concerns proactively and fosters a culture of excellence. Through training and mentorship, the Quality Engineer empowers operations staff with the knowledge and tools needed to uphold quality standards and drive continuous improvement. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Lead quality improvement projects such as RFT (Right First Time) improvement and COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) reduction.
• Lead and execute actions to drive customer delivery, efficiency, and financial improvements related to process and product quality
• Track and monitor financial benefits of completed quality programs
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Analyze data and trends from quality and production systems to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, commercial, QC, and QA teams to resolve quality concerns.
• Enhance quality culture throughout plant facility
• Report quality metrics and trends and recommend improvements.
• Support customer interactions, communication, and investigations
• Support internal and external audits, including documentation and follow-up actions. Requirements for the role :
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline, engineering discipline preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis proficiency and a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
