Senior Manager, Construction-DS - Industrial Remodel
Base pay range : $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction and negotiation of projects supporting rollout of initiatives within the Supply Chain network.
- Oversee and manage general contractors supporting project construction and design from development through execution and warranty.
- Coordinate onsite management of the general contractor and third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with operations and project objectives.
- Create and manage the overall construction schedule for each project in coordination with all business partners.
- Ensure construction budgets are met by reviewing pre-construction budgets, monthly and quarterly budget reports, and contractor payments and change orders.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with laws and regulations for construction projects, including establishing and communicating contractor performance standards.
- Partner with project managers and general contractors to create and evaluate project schedules, resolving conflicts and representing the company with municipalities and public officials.
- Present progress to key leadership and partners, keeping stakeholders updated.
- Partner with internal and external teams for coordination of project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Observe program trends, providing insight, consistency, and cross-functional solutions.
- Develop ways of working through coordination with cross-functional teams, securing leadership and support group buy-in.
- Lead project coordination meetings involving all key stakeholders for implementation of the work.
- Serve as a team lead and / or subject matter expert that supports other WM Business initiatives, consulting with and providing direction to project specific needs.
- Seek and implement opportunities within the program to develop or refine processes that optimize procedures and reduce time.
- Maintain, communicate, and adjust timelines, verifying material procurement and deliveries, and monitoring contractor work and schedules to ensure construction quality.
- Focus on continued education to increase technical skills and individual development, acting independently when complexity or financial impact is increased.
- Position requires travel for approximately 80% of time.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related fields and 3-5 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate or Warehouse site development, building design, and construction management OR 8-10 years' experience in other site development, building design, and construction management.3-5 years' experience in construction and project management.Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple site development projects at one time, either new construction or existing TI from either the site / building design, project management, or construction management perspective.Experience with projects involving automation on industrial scale.Experience with projects in operating facilities.Experience with Industrial Remodels.Benefits

Annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00.
Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock.
