Gravis Law, PLLC is seeking an Estates and Probate Paralegal to join its Colorado team. As a Paralegal, you will perform a variety of paralegal and administrative tasks in a collaborative, team-oriented culture. You will support local attorneys by assisting with case planning, development, and management, legal research, client communication, drafting and filing legal documents, and making recommendations to attorneys. The successful candidate has a passion for Estates and Probate work, including simple and complex Estate Planning, Trusts, and Formal and Informal Probate matters.
Estates & Probate Paralegal Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Managing attorney dockets to ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely manner.
- Reviewing files and conferring with attorneys to discuss the status of the file as well as upcoming deadlines.
- Assisting attorneys with preparing for client meetings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, pre-trial, trial, etc.
- Drafting letters, briefs, memorandums, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Filing and e-filing briefs, memorandums, discovery, and other legal documents.
- Maintaining client files both electronic and physical files.
- Communicating with clients on a regular basis.
- Conducting legal research and drafting.
- Providing high-quality legal products and superior service to clients.
- Covering the front desk and phones when necessary to ensure prompt and professional service.
- Maintaining a well-respected reputation among clients, opposing counsel, judges, court staff, and colleagues.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma, GED or equivalent education required.2+ years of Paralegal experience; Estates and Probate preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Ability to talk, listen and speak clearly on the phone and through written communications.Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook).Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and exemplary customer service.Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within given instructions and standard practices.Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.Desired Qualifications

Work Environment / Conditions / Physical Demands
Duties are performed in a standard office environment. Regular, punctual attendance is expected. Some duties may require weekends, holidays, on-call time, and occasional overnight travel.
