Job Description Summary

The Sales Analytics Pricing Specialist will facilitate and drive both new and ongoing pricing / rate process improvements throughout the organization with the primary goals of uncovering, aligning, and communicating rate opportunities within each specific market. This role will focus primarily on Sunbelt's Strategic business and the rate structure, platforms and strategies across this line of business. The role will seek to discover rate opportunities through the leverage of various KPIs, identifying and adjusting both under and marginally performing markets and customer groups. This position will action detailed usage of vendor analytics tools and reporting as well as internal data warehouses and processes to enhance both revenue and profitability within each market. This person will also assist in the research and creation of detailed business intelligence reporting to be consumed at multiple levels within the organization.

Position Responsibilities :

Independently coordinate and implement initiatives as they relate to rental rates through Sunbelt's proprietary Vendavo Pricing Process Automation software (PPA) and other analytics partners and SQL / BI reporting

Provide both in-depth analysis and clear explanation of pricing structures and alignment across Sunbelt's various end markets as well as how they will improve performance

Ensure Sunbelt's rate / price optimization programs and campaigns align with best practices and are perpetuated throughout all of levels of the organization

Work independently to maintain extensive test and control models to determine best practices and improvement opportunities

Implement analysis packages using data warehouse, SQL, Power BI, and other tools and processes

Support senior management in the interpretation and execution of KPI reports and other performance metrics

Collaborate with IT leadership in building and optimizing consistent rate tools, processes and system integration

Additional special projects as assigned / needed

Requirements :

Education & Experience :

BS in Finance, Economics, Operations or related business discipline or equivalent experience

3 - 5 years industry experience or 1 - 3 years' experience in an analytical role

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Access, Dynamics, Power BI and data warehouses / data cubes

Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision

Physical Demands :

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and / or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and / or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range : $63,520.00 - 87,340.00
