Manufacturing Engineer

Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will be primarily responsible for CAD design work, assist in machine / process troubleshooting, new equipment implementation, and other projects as directed.

Essential Duties

Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.

• Create models and drawings of products, parts, fixtures, and tooling for machinists and tool room staff to follow.
• Collaborate with tool room staff on CAD to CAM to workflows.
• Program and troubleshoot Epson and Fanuc robots.
• Document processes and validate dimensions.
• Systematically troubleshoot production equipment / tooling issues.
• Coordinate implementation of new equipment.
• Work with maintenance team to reduce machine downtime.
• Lead and be a member of continuous improvement project teams.
• Work on research and development projects as directed.
• Proliferate a culture of data and evidence-based decision making.
• Work toward continuous quality improvement.
• Stay current with changing technology, including CAD software and production programs.
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
• Assist team in achieving goals :

Education / Experience : Bachelor\'s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two or more years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
