Corporate Counsel

Corporate Counsel General Job Summary :

• The Corporate Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing legal risks. (This is a full-time position based in Charlotte, NC)  Primary Job Responsibilities : Provide guidance to executive team, management, and other departments on a variety of legal matters.
• Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring they align with the company policies and legal requirements.
• Ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations including HIPAA, Stark Law, and other relevant healthcare regulations.
• Risk management, to include identifying and mitigating legal risks related to patient care, privacy, and other healthcare operations.
• Provide advice and guidance on regulatory compliance, including licensing, provider enrollment, scope of practice, and billing / reimbursement.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to healthcare operations and compliance.
• Assist with managing litigation, working with outside counsel when needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
