Facilities Technician

Works within a unit of maintenance staff performing maintenance related duties throughout Oswego County at Agency Facilities covering all departments and programs of OCO. Independently performs routine to difficult maintenance and repairs to all OCO Facilities. Carries out all duties within policy and procedure and applicable codes.

Job Duties And Responsibilities :

• Works independently to carry out tasks under the supervision of the Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds.
• Works within a team of maintenance support staff to ensure cooperation and collaboration to achieve results.
• Handles daily assignments according to the work order system.
• Performs building and grounds maintenance throughout Oswego County based on assignments.
• Works with supervisor to coordinate larger projects.
• Demonstrates flexibility in order to respond to needs that arise for all OCO programs throughout the day / week; works in a pleasant manner with site staff and maintenance team.

Minimum Qualifications :

Full-Time 40 hours per week / 52 weeks per year

Grade 13

Monday through Friday 7 am to 3 : 30 pm
