A company is looking for a Contracts and Procurement Attorney to lead its contracts and procurement team and oversee service contracts and purchases to support conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the contracts and procurement team, ensuring effective implementation of procurement policies
Oversee the solicitation and evaluation of bids for large projects, managing risk and compliance throughout the contracting process
Provide training and guidance to staff on procurement matters and conduct reviews to ensure vendor compliance with contract terms
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with a minimum of eight years of experience in contracting and procurement
Experience with natural resource issues, particularly in public works construction or wildfire risk reduction
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and advance strategic goals
Commitment to the mission of conservation and understanding of National Forest management
Authorization to work in the United States
