Assistant Project Manager
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact commercial and industrial projects while gaining hands-on experience in project management, field coordination, and client communication. You'll work closely with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing electrical construction projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track and update project schedules, budgets, and change orders.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, purchase orders, and other project documentation.
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
- Attend job site meetings, assist with progress reporting, and support field operations.
- Facilitate material procurement, delivery tracking, and equipment logistics.
- Help identify and resolve project issues, communicating updates to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).13 years of experience in electrical contracting or construction project management.Solid understanding of electrical systems, construction workflows, and industry best practices.Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects.Familiarity with design-build or fast-track construction environments.Work Environment

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00 / hr.
