Job Overview :

The Probate Paralegal will play a key role in assisting attorneys in managing probate cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Florida probate law and possess excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills. The role requires the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple matters simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of probate administration, including the preparation and filing of court documents such as petitions, notices, inventories, and accountings.
• Manage case files, ensuring that all relevant information, documentation, and deadlines are properly organized and met.
• Draft and review legal documents related to probate and estate administration, including wills, trust agreements, and other estate planning documents.
• Coordinate the collection, valuation, and distribution of assets, including real property, personal property, and financial accounts.
• Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and government agencies as needed.
• Prepare and file required tax forms, including estate tax returns and other related documents.
• Assist with the preparation for hearings, mediations, or other probate proceedings as required.
• Ensure compliance with Florida probate law and firm procedures.
