Electrical Engineer Co Op - Spring / Summer 2026

Overview

Tommy's is looking for an Electrical Engineering Co-Op student to join our engineering team beginning Spring 2026. Each rotation will be spent within a different area of the Controls Engineering team to learn about the functions and responsibilities as related to a Tommy's Express Car Wash.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work experience through independent and group projects that directly relate to Tommy Car Wash Systems equipment and Tommy's Express operations
• Track progress on work and projects in order to provide updates to management as needed
• Participation in team, department, and company meetings to enhance processes, innovation, drive company measurables, and learn about the organization
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments specifically related to assigned projects
• Participation in the annual summer Intern Expo (during that specific rotation)
• Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

Work Environment

This job operates in a combination of professional office, warehouse, and retail car wash environments. Standard hours are Monday through Friday from 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm with extended hours as needed for specified roles. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.
