Overview

Manager, Software Communications at Capital One. The full-spectrum Capital One Communications team is responsible for all aspects of the company’s communications strategy and execution to propel business imperatives while promoting and protecting the reputation of Capital One. We are communicators, writers, creative directors and multimedia experts, and we are all storytellers. As a central team within Global Enterprise Affairs, we are strategic counselors to our partners throughout the enterprise, sitting at the intersection of value creation and risk mitigation.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our growing Communications team. This position requires exceptional judgment, an ability to build relationships in a highly matrixed environment, and a sustained focus on delivering results. Creative problem-solving, an ability to read the data and the room, and a passion for storytelling are all critical to success in this role. Empathy, teamwork and a sense of humor are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Partner with team leads to execute communications campaigns that align with enterprise and line-of-business objectives
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of communications strategies
• Contribute to team-wide efforts to develop processes and operational excellence
• Stay informed about industry trends to inform and enhance communication strategies

This salary information is for candidates hired to work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Plano, TX : $115,200 - $131,500 for Communications Manager

Richmond, VA : $115,200 - $131,500 for Communications Manager

McLean, VA : $126,700 - $144,600 for Communications Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, as reflected in the offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and / or long-term incentives (LTI).
