Position Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the General Manager with daily operations, staff leadership, and guest satisfaction. This position is hands-on, balancing operational execution with team development to ensure consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily restaurant operations.

Lead by example in maintaining a positive, energetic, and professional environment.

Supervise, train, and coach team members to ensure excellent service and operational standards.

Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.

Monitor ticket times, food quality, and overall guest satisfaction.

Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and labor controls.

Help drive sales through upselling initiatives, promotions, and loyalty program engagement.

Step into the role of General Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of leadership.

Qualifications

Prior restaurant or food service leadership experience preferred.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to motivate, train, and hold staff accountable to performance standards.

High level of professionalism and customer service focus.

Flexible availability, including evenings, holidays, and weekends as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary : $36,000 per year plus participation in the tip pool
