Primary areas of accountability include : productivity, service, safety, CSA performance, driver / dock hiring , driver retention, service level agreements, loading / unloading, transport planning, human resources Implement and track service goals through reviews of operating expenses Support customer relationships when required Ensure that safety, service, and quality measures are implemented and monitored Ensure that a safe working environment is provided for all employees Implement understanding and compliance with all Company policies, procedures and federal and state Department of Transportation rules and regulations Create an atmosphere of leadership and teamwork that values the contributions of all employees in support of a sustainable, safe performance culture Lead and develop internal staff and educate where applicable Leads the terminal by example with a "can do" attitude through people management excellence Closely works with operations on a daily basis Perform other duties as required by management Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) Prescription benefits Life Insurance Short & Long term disability Paid holidays Paid Time Off 401k with 4% company match
