CNC MACHINING PROGRAMMER & SUPERVISOR

Machining Programmer & Supervisor $30 / hr or More!

Job Description

Join an established tool and die manufacturing shop located in Nashville as a CNC Programmer / Lead. This role is focused on programming CNC machines for unique setups, including 3D milling and hard milling, during the day shift from 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines to perform various functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, and broaching of metallic and nonmetallic workpieces.
• Lead a team of CNC operators to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
• Schedule all CNC work using job shop control software.
• Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.
• Consult with the design department on CNC work and communicate effectively with co-workers and project managers.
• Inspect and measure parts as required.
• Report any scheduling problems to project managers.
• May be required to work overtime and weekends (40-55 hrs / wk).

Work Environment

The position is set in a tool and die manufacturing environment with office space, operating on a day shift schedule from 6 : 45 AM to 3 : 30 PM. Safety toe shoes and safety glasses are required at all times in the shop area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $68640.00 / yr.
