Plan Review Coordinator

4 Leaf, Inc., a leading project management and engineering services firm, is currently seeking a Plan Review Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This role is paramount in ensuring that projects across government, healthcare, and education sectors comply with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations. The ideal candidate will facilitate the review, approval, and implementation of project plans submitted by architects and engineers, ensuring they meet the necessary quality and safety standards before any construction or development work begins. Coordinate the submission, review, and approval processes of construction and development plans according to local, state, and federal regulations. Liaise with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify, negotiate, and finalize project specifications. Maintain records of plan submissions, revisions, and approvals to ensure transparency and accountability. Provide feedback and advice on compliance issues to project teams to help adjust plans according to regulatory requirements. Organize and lead regular project review meetings with stakeholders to discuss and resolve any emerging issues. Update and maintain the accuracy of project documentation and compliance records. Stay informed about changes in legislation and industry standards related to construction and development, advising the team on necessary adjustments to practices. In-depth knowledge of civil and construction engineering principles. Strong understanding of local, state, and federal planning and zoning laws. Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office. Exceptional organizational and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
