About The Position

• Proficient in blood product administration and central line management

Description :

This position involves working in a medical-surgical / telemetry overflow unit.

Nurses will provide care for a diverse patient population.

The target nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 6-7.

Support from certified nursing assistants will be available, maintaining a ratio of 1 : 12.

Nurses will work three night shifts per week, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The unit emphasizes teamwork and collaboration to provide remarkable patient experiences.

Responsibilities include treating dysrhythmias accurately, utilizing telemetry monitoring systems.

Participation in interdisciplinary support services is expected.

Nurses may be required to float to sister units as needed.

The unit uses Pyxis and Epic for medication management and patient documentation.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing high-quality care.

Completion of EKG testing is required prior to starting in this role.
