Summary :
This position is responsible for ensuring that all projects meet client expectations, supporting sales and design, coordinating pre-order preparation, labor quoting, scheduling, installation, warehouse, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager acts as a liaison throughout the project with sales, clients, internal departments, and external vendors, following up on punch list issues and ensuring all orders are invoiced upon project completion.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Manage information related to pricing, delivery, installation, and related services efficiently.
- Assist with bids and other assigned duties.
- Understand the full project lifecycle within Creative Office Resources system, including specifications, dimensions, quotes, scheduling, and walk-throughs.
- Provide weekly status reports to clients and sales teams.
- Utilize technology tools such as CAP, HMI Kiosk, Order Manager, CORE, and Lotus Notes for job support.
- Update project statuses promptly in CORE with appropriate symbols.
- Engage with Sales and Design upon receiving project registration to be involved from the start.
- Request Certificates of Insurance when necessary.
- Determine optimal delivery and installation solutions by understanding project scope.
- Coordinate direct shipping and notify subcontracted labor of estimated installation dates.
- Develop and monitor installation pricing, track hours, and manage subcontractor bids.
- Create project schedules to meet client move-in dates.
- Verify critical dimensions and evaluate space to meet specifications.
- Coordinate electrical, data, and core locations.
- Review drawings and specifications for project phasing and receiving / installation planning.
- Perform take-offs and compare project plans against purchase orders.
- Schedule and monitor orders, shipping, and installation dates.
- Meet with project foremen before and during installation to ensure scope and expectations are clear.
- Oversee on-site activities during delivery and installation.
- Conduct final walkthroughs, compile punch lists, and ensure timely communication and resolution.
- Follow up on customer issues, track punch list progress, and oversee punch list completion.
- Obtain signed delivery and work orders, and close out projects for billing.
- Manage change orders and documentations.
- Maintain project status reports and participate in meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to process and responsibility changes as needed.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience :
Four-year college degree.1-3 years industry experience.Strong time management and organizational skills.Technical aptitude.Knowledge of product options, lead times, and product strengths / weaknesses.Understanding of profit and loss implications related to markup and margins.Ability to work collaboratively and provide excellent customer service.Valid driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.Physical Demands :
Ability to move in various positions and environments, including confined spaces.Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.Sedentary work involving sitting and standing, with repetitive motions.Work Environment :
