Electronic Technician
PRIMARY FUNCTION :
The Electronic Tech's primary responsibility is to maintain the excellent condition and functionality of equipment and facilities. Duties include troubleshooting PLC, VFD, and PID systems, performing electrical and electronic repairs, developing equipment improvements, solving daily manufacturing equipment issues, and conducting quality assessments.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Possess knowledge and solid understanding of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs), variable frequency drives, motors, encoders, electromechanical systems, and electronic sensors.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical maintenance personnel during breakdowns and improvement projects.
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, etc.
- Exhibit excellent electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Create and maintain procedures and documentation.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of processes and materials used in cable manufacturing.
- Communicate professionally in verbal and written forms with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors and engineering management.
- Be available for overtime work as required.
- Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate shift-to-shift information to the next manufacturing technician.
REQUIREMENTS :
High School Diploma required.At least 3 years of manufacturing experience.Associate degree preferred.Company Description :
