Acquisition Data Analyst

Overview

Nakupuna Prime is looking for a n Acquisition Data Analy st to support a Navy customer at the Pentagon . The ideal candidate has experience transform ing large structured and unstructured datasets in support of high-level officials and is a self-starter capable of seamless work in an individual or team setting .

Responsibilities

• Provide support and analysis for data science analysis and management expertise for acquisition data to include identification collection cleansing analysis and interpretation of acquisition data and transforming raw data into meaningful information.
• Apply data mining data modeling natural language processing and
• machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize interpret and report data findings.
• Develop and update acquisition business and sustainment (ABS) data system activities processes and guidance for accountability across the DON enterprise.
• Coordinate collect consolidate and analyze information contained in various databases and information collected during data calls for ABS data systems.
• Provide strategic evaluation of ABS data system related issues and support developing strategic plans for improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate collect consolidate and test ABS data systems to problem solve validate and account for DON requirements and support of FIAR.
• Develop training materials .
• Provide ABS data systems support to include but not limited to hands-on or remote training and job aids.
• Develop and maintain a website to support the DON ABS data systems communities.
• Participate in the review of various ABS data systems (for software releases) and support implementation of correcting functioning software.
• Plan and document meetings to include providing reports briefing materials and tracking actions.
• Use standard formats and guidelines to draft and prepare official documents and communications.

Qualifications

Skills / Qualifications : The ideal candidate is familiar and has experience with the following technical knowledge skills and abilities :

Education and Experience : This position requires a B achelors D egree from an accredited college or university and 5-7 years of demonstrable data analysis experience preferably with involvement in defense acquisition programs . Department of Navy experience strong ly preferred.

Clearance : Active Secret. Must be a U.S. citizen.
