At least 3 years of experience in servicing commercial business in an insurance setting. Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a client-first approach in all communications. Professional Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, AAI are highly advantageous. Previous experience with Applied Tam software. Proven leadership skills with experience in staff management and operational oversight. Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook, to ensure effective data management and client correspondence. In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets. Superior problem-solving skills and innovation in approach to business challenges. High integrity and honesty, with a self-motivated and proactive work ethic. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-stake environment. Commercial Insurance Account Manager
We are a thriving commercial insurance agency located in Sussex County, NJ, expanding our services with a focus on client care and integrity. Salary : $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Direct management and oversight of an assigned book of commercial lines business ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Build and maintain strong relationships through daily interactions with clients, advising them on optimal insurance coverage solutions.
- Perform detailed rate-making and maintain comprehensive knowledge of underwriting processes to optimize client proposals.
- Implement strategic initiatives and enhancements to improve service delivery and operational efficiency within the team.
- Lead, manage, and develop staff to maximize productivity and handle daily operational challenges effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business goals.
- Utilize technology to streamline processes and enhance the client interaction experience.
