Financial Aid Processor

Purpose :

The Financial Aid Processor is mainly responsible for packaging Title IV aid and all other eligible funding options (excluding VA / Military funding) on a timely basis, complying with all requirements and regulations set by the Department of Education or all / any other awarding entities, for our active students.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (those that must be performed with or without an ADA Accommodation) :

• Determine eligibility for reviewing and packaging :
• Title IV (Federal Aid) Funding.
• State-Funded Financial Aid – Cal Grants, Chafee Grants, etc.
• Private Institutions – Private Student Loans.
• Awarding Scholarships – Institutional and External.
• Scheduling Payment Plans
• Confirming and setting up tuition charges, fees, and budgets.
• Award eligible funding options as determined by eligibility – Pell Grants, FSEOG, Cal Grants, Stafford Loans, Parent Plus Loans, Private Loans, Scholarships, etc.
• Adhering to up-to-date compliance requirements and regulations related to Title IV funding.
• Clearing exceptions preventing or delaying scheduled funds from being disbursed.
• Package rosters / spreadsheets of newly enrolled or continuing students.
• Responding to all communications on a timely basis, ensuring detailed and comprehensive replies are relayed with a sense of urgency.
• Achieving daily, weekly, and / or monthly goals or expectations as determined by management.
• Attend training sessions via virtual conferences, webinars, in-person, or pre-recorded videos.
• Follow institutional policies, procedures, and protocols conforming to all departments.
• Effectively and professionally work with all teammates, leaders, staff from all departments, faculty, along with students and parents.
