Summary
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work with a team to execute land development engineering projects. As a project manager, this individual will be responsible not only for managing and coordinating projects but also identifying and securing new projects with existing clients in the land development market.
In addition, this person will be responsible for the management and oversight of project key performance indicators such as scope, revenue, profitability, quality, and utilization. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that has the desire to grow with the company!
- Work Location : Hybrid after training phase in-office Tuesday-Thursday for team collaboration
- Expected Compensation Range : $95,000-135,000 annually (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, and implementation of land development projects (residential and / or commercial)Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and proceduresCoordinate design efforts with clients, contractors, architects, and other consultantsProvide clear and effective day-to-day guidance to project team staff and assist with workload planning and task assignments
Engage with clients regularly to provide updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong working relationshipsRepresent Sambatek at project meetings with municipalities, clients, and external stakeholders
Support business development by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting with proposal preparationProactively manage project finances, including preparing change orders, invoicing, and supporting collection effortsEnsure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed at key milestonesContribute to the achievement of QA / QC goals and help define project objectives and resource needsRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota (or ability to obtain)5+ years of consulting experience in land development, with a focus on residential and / or commercial projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgmentProven ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to shifting priorities throughout the daySkilled in mentoring and supporting the professional growth of junior staffDemonstrated conflict resolution skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindsetCommitted to delivering high-quality work and building lasting client relationshipsPhysical Demands and Work Environment
