job_description.job_card.job_descriptionLead the planning, design, and implementation of land development projects (residential and / or commercial) Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures Coordinate design efforts with clients, contractors, architects, and other consultants Engage with clients regularly to provide updates, manage expectations, and maintain strong working relationships Support business development by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and assisting with proposal preparation Proactively manage project finances, including preparing change orders, invoicing, and supporting collection efforts Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are completed at key milestones Contribute to the achievement of QA / QC goals and help define project objectives and resource needs Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Minnesota (or ability to obtain) 5+ years of consulting experience in land development, with a focus on residential and / or commercial projects Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment Proven ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to shifting priorities throughout the day Skilled in mentoring and supporting the professional growth of junior staff Demonstrated conflict resolution skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset Committed to delivering high-quality work and building lasting client relationships Work is primarily performed in an office environment Ability to occasionally move equipment / objects weighing up to 10 pounds Medical, dental, and vision plans HSA and FSA options Employer-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Employer-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment insurance Employee assistance program Voluntary benefits such as additional life insurance coverage, accident coverage, and critical illness coverage Paid time off and holidays Retirement 401(k) plan with company match
Description
Sambatek, LLC is a professional services firm that specializes in civil engineering, planning, surveying, and environmental services. We serve public and private clients throughout the country with office locations in Minnesota, Texas, and North Carolina. We embrace challenging projects and work hard to help our clients find success.
Summary
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work with a team to execute land development engineering projects. As a project manager, this individual will be responsible not only for managing and coordinating projects but also identifying and securing new projects with existing clients in the land development market.
In addition, this person will be responsible for the management and oversight of project key performance indicators such as scope, revenue, profitability, quality, and utilization. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that has the desire to grow with the company!
- Work Location : Hybrid after training phase in-office Tuesday-Thursday for team collaboration
- Expected Compensation Range : $95,000-135,000 annually (Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications)
- Pay Rate Type : Salary
Responsibilities
Provide clear and effective day-to-day guidance to project team staff and assist with workload planning and task assignments
Represent Sambatek at project meetings with municipalities, clients, and external stakeholders
