Test Technician

Volt is immediately hiring Test Technician in McKinney, TX. As Test Technician, you will support acceptance testing functions on production and development / prototype products. The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing / production / depot environment on 1st shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.

What You Will Do :

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
• Fault-isolate problems and assist in the resolution of issues between the test environment and the devices under test.
• Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
• Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
• Interpretation of test data to choose pass / fail conditions and resolve when further analysis is needed.
• Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools.

This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire opportunity. This position requires Active Secret Clearance. The Ideal candidate will have :
