Clinic Assistant Position

Job Requirements : As a clinic assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible for a variety of patient care duties and other related duties in the clinical setting that include documentation of medical information, administration of medications / vaccinations and treatments, as well as obtaining medical histories, vital signs, etc. The clinic assistant assists the healthcare providers in the timely delivery of services per physician / RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures. All programs and activities are designed to support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.

Work Schedule : 36 hrs weekly / .9 FTE. Day / evening shifts (Varing Hours Mon-Thursday between 6 : 45am-7pm, Friday 6 : 45am-5pm, rotating Saturday 7 : 45am-12pm)

Required Qualifications : High School diploma / equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (current certification as a MA preferred), current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin, or graduate of an accredited EMT program. Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.

Preferred Qualifications : Experience in EPIC computer system
