We have partnered with a publicly traded FinTech that is creating technology to deliver financial empowerment to consumers when it matters most. Their broad array of mobile-first financial solutions has helped over 20 million people manage their financial well-being and provided over $40 billion in consumer loans.
The Company's legal team is looking for an Assistant General Counsel who is well-versed in the banking & consumer finance regulatory space. This person will navigate new proposed laws to assist the business and help support the launch of additional products.

Responsibilities :
Stay informed about banking regulations, laws, and industry standards (UDAAP, FCRA, Reg E, etc)Draft and review related legal agreements on existing and new financial productsAdvise internal stakeholders on relevant legal matters relating to the company's financial productsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, technology, marketing) to support the launch of new financial productsCollaborate with outside counsel on litigation matters when necessaryConduct due diligence on potential M&A activityQualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school6+ years of relevant legal experienceAdmitted to a state bar in good standingIn-depth understanding of banking regulations and complianceStrong Drafting Skills for ContractsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
