My client is an industry leader in the design and build of high-performance packaging automation equipment. From concept through installation, they deliver innovative packaging solutions for clients in food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries.
Job Description
The Operations Manager will report into the General Manager and be responsible for :
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production, assembly, and scheduling activities.
- Implement and manage ERP-driven workflows to improve planning, materials management, and production visibility.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Project Management to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and lead time.
- Lead and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and support staff fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and process optimization to enhance throughput and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational best practices.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or operations management, ideally within automation, packaging equipment, or capital machinery industries.Proven success leading teams in a custom or build-to-order manufacturing environment.Deep understanding of mechanical / electrical assembly, fabrication, and production scheduling.Experience driving process improvement, resource utilization, and efficiency metrics.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proficient in production planning systems (ERP / MRP) and Microsoft Office tools.What's on Offer
