Accounts Payable Manager
Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, credit memos, and payments.
Lead, mentor, and manage AP team members across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Maintain vendor relationships, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Leverage advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, macros, etc.) for data analysis, reporting, and process improvements.
Partner with Purchasing and Inventory teams to ensure proper matching and accounting of inventory-related invoices.
Manage banking interfaces and initiate or oversee foreign currency payments, ensuring compliance with FX procedures.
Collaborate with Finance and Operations to understand and improve the operational impact of the payables process.
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce errors.
Assist with audits and compliance reporting as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
6+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
Strong Excel skills required - ability to analyze and manipulate large datasets.
Experience managing teams in multi-location or remote environments.
Knowledge of inventory systems and cost accounting principles (a plus).
Familiarity with banking platforms and foreign exchange transactions.
Proven ability to work hands-on and manage day-to-day operations while also driving process improvements.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00 / yr.
