Position Overview

VMG is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to join our Construction Division. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in plumbing, can read and interpret blueprints, and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.

This position is also eligible for prevailing wage projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including piping, fixtures, valves, and equipment in commercial buildings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes using proper tools and techniques.
• Inspect plumbing systems for proper installation and compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise on construction sites.
